		<description>
	Like Hiragana: Thoughts on Navigating the Body (2023)Like Hiragana: Thoughts on Navigating the Body is Mirano's Master's thesis at the Critical Inquiry Lab, Design Academy Eindhoven. The year-long endeavor aims to reevaluate one’s understanding and expression of selfhood and corporeality by delving into the conceptual realm of Hiragana, the Japanese phonetic alphabet.

Adaptability is paramount in today's dynamic landscape, marked by economic shifts and the post-COVID era. Historically shaped by women, Hiragana became Mirano's source of inspiration, a symbol of embracing openness amidst contemporary flux.

Unveiling her exploration through four pillars—quasistatic, magic, secret, and flatness—and applying a playful autofictional format, Mirano showcases how to draw wisdom from these linguistic elements. The work encourages a fresh perspective, inviting readers on an insightful journey through the complexities of life.

	Diagnosis and Treatment: Somewhere in between Magic and Science (2022)Diagnosis and Treatment: Somewhere in between Magic and Science is a contribution within the anthology titled Every Day I Put On My Silly Little Thinking Hat And Do My Silly Little Critique, curated and published by the Critical Inquiry Lab, Design Academy Eindhoven. Rooted in a family of medical experts and steeped in scientific discourses, Mirano’s curiosity has long been piqued by the societal influence on an individual's perception of their body and the corresponding experiences. This piece marks the first exploration of this theme, delving into the realm of rituals, particularly those supported by unfounded beliefs in healing efficacy. Employing an experimental diary format, Mirano investigates how these rituals intricately intertwine with an individual's experiential reality, shedding light on the complex dynamics at play.

The project delves into the shifting role of art curators in today's digital age, characterized by abundant fragmented information. It immerses itself in a dystopian narrative, imagining how a curator's influence changes as audiences gain the power to create and curate their knowledge.

The project anticipates an uncertain future for the digital creative sphere by drawing an unconventional analogy from the casino. In their investigative journey, the team discovered a conceptual link between curators and dealers, skillfully navigating intangible realms of knowledge and financial aspirations by revitalizing and redefining spaces and offerings.

It is born on the Internet and evolves infinitely. The Ghost Fossil (2023)
The Ghost Fossil is an auto-fictional short film that delves into the enigmatic aspects of the Japanese linguistic system, particularly the alphabet of Hiragana. Unfolding the notion of the in-between in relation to the body and self, the film challenges the limitations of language and self-expression. It weaves fragments from different disciplines, questioning predetermined categories and systems. Hiragana is depicted as a fluid and indeterminate language, oscillating between word and image, meaning and non-meaning. Through poetic imagery and introspective narration, The Ghost Fossil invites viewers to embrace uncertainty and engage with the world in a more nuanced and thoughtful way.
