Mirano Suzuki is a Tokyo-based interdisciplinary researcher exploring the intersection of art and critical design. Her research focus is to understand the relationship between the human body, selfhood, and language. Recently, she completed her master's studies at the Critical Inquiry Lab, Design Academy Eindhoven.
Mirano utilizes various mediums, such as illustrations, texts, and playful interventions, to articulate her creative ideas. Her goal is to uncover hidden knowledge within everyday gestures and thoughts, particularly those tied to our emotional experiences, aiming to inspire the development of new services and products.
Having lived in diverse settings, including Spain, the US, and the Netherlands, Mirano has gained a cultural sensitivity and empathetic approach. These experiences inform her research, fostering an open-minded and curious outlook in her work.
